We take the protection of personal data very seriously and comply with the relevant statutory provisions. The following statement tells you what kind of data is captured and for what purpose, and to what extent these data are made accessible to third parties.

Personal data which are captured automatically when visiting our website

Log files

In the server statistics of our server, such data will be stored automatically which the browser transfers to us in order to make it possible for you to visit the website (so-called “log files”). In detail, these are the following data:

  • Language and version of the browser software, operating system used and its interface
  • Referrer URL (the page previously visited)
  • Host name of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • The date and time of the server request
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
  • Content of the request (specific site)
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Access status/ HTTP status code.

We cannot generally assign these data to particular persons. These data will not be amalgamated with other data sources. In addition, the data will be erased within 4 weeks after a statistical evaluation. We only use this information for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of our offer.

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 (f) GDPR. The storage is carried out in order to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, the data serves us to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.

Additional personal data when using the website

Contact form

The personal data provided by you within the framework of using our website such as name, address or email address, shall only be used internally in order to answer your inquiries, process your orders or to provide you with access to particular information. When you contact us via email or using the contact form, your information will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. If you want to use the contact form offered on the website, we require from you a valid email address as well as your name. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 (b) GDPR if the purpose of your contacting us is in connection with the initiation or fulfilment of a contractual relationship existing between us. In other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) Sentence 1 (f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in being able to respond to your requests, and so to make our customer service even more convenient. This interest outweighs your personality rights because your personal data will not be captured in secret, but rather is transferred to us via the contact form with your knowledge.

Applications

We also offer you the possibility to apply to us using the contact form on our website or via email. In doing so, we generally close application documents possibly sent six months after the conclusion of the application process. The data of applicants who issued a consent to further storage of the data in the applicant data pool are excluded from this. In the case of these data, it will be reviewed after two years whether there is any need to further store them. Otherwise the data will be erased. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1), Sentence 1 (a) and (f), Art. 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 BDSG (new).

Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and through which certain information flows to the place which set the cookie. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and more effective and/or to make your navigation on our website easier. You can of course also use our website without accepting cookies. You can also configure your browser settings according to your preferences and generally, for instance, refuse acceptance of third-party cookies or all cookies, or erase cookies alreadystored. If you do not accept cookies, please note that in this case our offer may not operate error free under certain circumstances.

The purpose of using cookies is to simplify the use of websites for you, because some of the functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. Access, rectification, blocking, erasure

We will be happy to inform you about the personal data concerning you which we store, as well as about their origin, recipients or categories of recipients to which these data are forwarded and the purpose of the storage. You can claim this right at any time as well as claim a right to rectification, blocking and erasure of your data. You have the following rights against us in respect of the personal data concerning you:

  • Right to access, Art. 15 GDPR,
  • Right to rectification of incorrect or incomplete data, Art. 16 GDPR,
  • Right to erasure of your data stored by us, Art. 17 GDPR,
  • Right to restriction of the processing, Art. 18 GDPR,
  • Right to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR,
  • Right to object to the processing, Art. 21 GDPR.

Information and communications about your rights will be issued to you free of charge.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority concerning the processing of your personal data by us (cf. Art. 77 GDPR).
